The Mary Wade Home's Board of Managers has been diligently working on future expansion projects.
With the guidance of Kenneth Boroson Architects, plans are being drawn to expand the skilled nursing unit and build a new residential care home.
A 34 bed addition to the Kimberly Wing will provide more room and services for those needing skilled nursing care.
The new residential care home will be a 75 bed state of the art facility, located directly across the street from Mary Wade's main entrance on Pine Street.
Ground breaking is expected to begin in the Fall of 2008.
