Mary Wade Receives $48k Check for Participating in

Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund Program

On August 23, 2011, Mary Wade will receive a plaque and recognition with a $48,000 incentive check for participating in Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund's Energy Conscious Blueprint Program sponsored by the United Illuminating Company and the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund.

According to David Hunter, CEO of Mary Wade, "By partnering with the United Illuminating Company and the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund, Mary Wade will not only reduce energy consumption but we will be able to use the funds to provide vital support services to seniors who are in need of our assistance." The Energy Efficiency Fund is dedicated to help residents and businesses save on their electric and natural gas bills, advance economic development, reduce electric demand and help reduce air pollution.

A reception will follow the presentation of the check. Guest speakers presenting at this event are: Richard Steeves, Co-Vice Chairperson of the Energy Efficiency Fund, Mike Stein, Engineer, The United Illuminating Company (UI), Roy Hall, Manager of C&I Energy Services, UI, Pat McDonnell, Senior Director, Conservation and Load Management, UI, Valentino Ferro, Account Manager, Southern Connecticut Gas (SCG) and John Dobos, Director of Sales/Marketing, SCG.
